About FHFH
Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH) is a non-profit ministry that invites hunters and landowners to donate game and livestock to feed the hungry among us. Inspected, approved meat processors receive and butcher the donations. The meat is then packaged and given free of charge to food banks, feeding programs and ministries that serve the poor.
FHFH Coordinators raise financial support from their local communities to pay the meat processing expenses so that hunters, landowners, food banks, and ministries can participate free of charge. FHFH also raises financial support at the national level to provide promotional and administrative services to the local Coordinators.
Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH) began in Hagerstown, MD during the fall of 1997 and now functions in over 25 states, receiving and distributing enough meat for over 1.2 million meals annually.
